Rev. Bud Beverly, Vacancy Pastor

Pastor Beverly was born and raised in Montana. He received a BA from the University of Montana, a Masters from the University of Oklahoma, an MDiv from Brite Divinity School TCU, and graduate work at Concordia Seminary St. Louis. He and Judy were high school sweethearts, marrying just out of college.

 

He served in the Air Force during Viet Nam, and later went to work for Texaco Refining Department in Labor Relations. They have two daughters, Christina and Deanna. Christina and her husband, Camron, live in Keller. Deanna and her husband, Chris, and five children, live in Tulsa.

Bud has served churches in the North Texas area since seminary, more recently serving as an associate pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth, from which he retired at the end of October 2009. Judy is an RN and also has a degree in health care management. She has served as coordinator of health care services at Birdville ISD, from which she retired at the end of 2009.

 

Apart from serving the Lord, they both enjoy family and friends, reading, traveling, working in the yard, and photography. They are both delighted that Pastor Beverly has been asked to serve at Trinity Lutheran Church.
